Fishing Holidays can be arranged specifically for you. The Charente offers excellent fishing for all types of angler. Lake fishing on small local lakes, or the larger Lacs de Charente. River fishing on the River Charante or River Vienne.
For the Specimen Angler, there are Carp upto 60lb and large Catfish and Pike in abundance. Specimen Barbel and Chub fishing will delight and excite you on the challenging Vienne, or the peaceful Charente.
A Fly Fisherman's Paradise, the large Lacs de Charante and the beautiful River Vienne can provide you with fly fishing at it's best. We can advise you and take you to the best places, or you can simply go out and explore South West France's untapped rivers and lakes!
For the match and pleasure angler, the rivers and lakes are full of all varieties and fish.
Fishing Permits will be organised for you, prior to your arrival.
There are plenty of excellent Fishing Tackle Shops selling equipment and a variety of bait, alternatively you can bring your own.
Night Fishing is allowed in certain areas.
